Steven Smith is a certified athletic trainer. Steven works with his clients to develop a customized training plan to meet specific health and performance needs.
My background as an Athletic Trainer has given me the knowledge and expertise to apply a multi-faceted approach to training athletes. I am a big promoter of constant self-improvement and being able to train like-minded athletes is what motivates me to coach with passion. I believe that a sound fitness routine should be anchored by injury prevention exercises and proper training technique which in turn provide a solid foundation for health and well-being.”
Steven graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2012 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training. Since then, he has been a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer for the State of Maine. Steven specializes in bringing a medical approach to his coaching, working effectively with post-injury patients and athletes. Instilling confidence of body and mind for athletes is important to him.
Over the years, Steven has acquired certifications in FMS (Functional Movement Systems), USA Olympic Lifting and Method Metabolic. Steven has also worked closely with organizations such as Selects Hockey and Global Premier Soccer.
