FREE Community Seminar “Partial Knee Replacement: is it Right for me?”
(SOUTH PORTLAND, ME) – Partial knee replacement is the subject of a special presentation, offered by OA Centers for Orthopaedics, a division of Spectrum Medical Group.
Orthopaedic surgeon, Bruce Gomberg, M.D. of OA Centers for Orthopaedics will discuss Partial Knee Replacement on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 via Facebook LIVE video on OA’s Facebook page. Topics covered will include the ins and outs of the procedure, who makes a good candidate, and how long until return to full activity.
Gomberg said “unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, or partial knee replacements, have recently become very popular among more active patients since the procedure is effective, less invasive and has a much quicker recovery time. This option can be a great alternative for bicyclists, outdoor enthusiasts and generally active people who are anxious to get back to doing the things they love.”
Gomberg is a board-certified, fellowship-trained surgeon who specializes in knee and hip replacements. He has a special focus on partial knee replacements, having performed more than any surgeon north of Boston.
This free community seminar will be offered on May 17, 2017 from 5:00 – 6:00pm on OA’s Facebook page.
