This summer, we're honored to be part of one of Maine's most powerful and inspiring events, the 2025 Tri for a Cure, taking place on Sunday, July 20th in South Portland.
Now in its 18th year, Tri for a Cure is Maine's largest fundraising triathlon, bringing together over a thousand women each year to swim, bike, and run in support of cancer research and care. Many participants are cancer survivors themselves, while others race in honor of loved ones or simply to be part of the mission: to create a cancer-free Maine. The sense of strength, unity, and hope felt throughout the day is nothing short of extraordinary.
This year, Orthopaedic Associates of Maine is proud to serve not only as a sponsor of the event, but also as the medical team behind the scenes, staffing the medical tent for the entire day. Our experienced orthopedic providers and support staff will be on-site to care for athletes, manage injuries, and ensure everyone stays safe and supported throughout the race.
At OA, we're passionate about helping people stay active, overcome injury, and live life to the fullest. Being part of Tri for a Cure allows us to give back to our community in a meaningful way—and to stand alongside these incredible women as they push their limits for an inspiring cause.
Whether you're racing, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting a participant, we hope to see you there!
