Erica Skolnekovich, PT
Erica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Daemen College in Buffalo, NY and started her career in Pittsburgh, PA in outpatient rehabilitation. Upon moving to Maine, she managed a PT clinic in Westbrook offering outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation as well as conditioning programs and treatment to patients undergoing chemotherapy. For 5 years she actively treated patients and promoted employee wellness, teaching weekly exercise classes for employees.
In 2005 she decided to focus her efforts on treatment of the athletic population and joined OA Physical Therapy Center. Erica believes in rehabilitation through functional and sport specific training. She has developed and implemented post surgical hip protocols and actively participates in the OA Wellness initiative as a member on the wellness committee.
Erica promotes health and fitness as a certified Jazzercise Instructor, teaching weekly classes in Portland. She is also a member of the internationally competitive and performing, Royal River Chorus. She provides weekly active warm ups to develop stamina for performances as well as the promotion of proper singing posture with choreography among members.
Erica and her husband live in Freeport, both enjoy road and mountain biking as well as hiking with their dog.
