Melissa Jackson

Melissa Jackson, PT, MS
Melissa received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Husson College in 2004. Upon graduation, she moved to the mid-coast region and began her practice in outpatient rehabilitation. Since then, Melissa has been treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She became particularly interested in the rehabilitation of dysfunctions of the hand and has focused here since 2006. In 2008, she completed all course requirements for the certification of advanced practice in hand and upper quarter rehabilitation from Drexel University. In addition, she is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists.

Melissa joined the OA team in 2011 and is working in our new Brunswick facility. Her areas of interest include: post-operative rehabilitation, treatment of nerve dysfunctions, rehabilitation of the upper extremity, patellofemoral conditions, disorders of the hip and the cervical spine, and treatment of the injured athlete.

Melissa’s lives in Topsham and enjoys all forms of exercise, the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
