Chief Executive Officer

John Wipfler, JD, MBA

Mr. Wipfler joined OA Centers for Orthopedics as chief executive officer in 2006. He was most recently chief executive officer of Eyecare Medical Group, here in Portland. His healthcare-related experience includes positions as the executive director and general counsel of the Maine Health Care Finance Commission, assistant attorney general for the State of Maine representing the Department of Human Services, and healthcare attorney at Pierce Atwood. Mr. Wipfler earned his BA in psychology at Antioch College and both his JD and MBA from Boston College. Mr. Wipfler's interests include spending time with his family, coaching soccer and travel. He resides in Portland with his family.
