Hand Therapist (PT/OT)

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Hand Therapist to join our Brunswick facility 20-40 hours per week. The high energy team player we seek will work with our hand surgeons to provide care to athletes and post-operative patients.

Current Maine state PT/OT license and at least 1 year of hand therapy experience in treating a variety of post surgical hand and elbow diagnoses is required as well as strong hand splinting, manual therapy, electronic documentation, and computer skills; CHT or CHT eligibility preferred.

 

Massage Therapist
(Independent Contractor position)

The OA Performance Center located in Saco, Maine is a fully integrated physician, physical therapy, and sports performance facility. We are expanding our Massage Therapy business and are looking for experienced individuals to join our team in an Independent Contractor capacity.

We are presently seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to work with clients from a variety of sources, including athletes (high school, college, and professional) and physical therapy referrals. The professional we seek will have a minimum of 2 years experience with the ability to build a strong client base.

 

Physical Therapist (Full Time)

We have an opportunity available for a talented and motivated professional to provide sports medicine services in OA's 22,000 square foot Physical Therapy Center and Performance Center dedicated to the training of athletes in Saco.

The high energy team player we seek will have advanced treatment and communication skills as well as 2+ years experience in outpatient orthopedic sports medicine for this highly athletic/active patient population. Current Maine state license in Physical Therapy is required. Additional ATC or CSCS qualification is a plus.

Insurance Benefits: Full-time (32 – 40 hours/week) and Part-time (27-31 hours/week) employees are eligible for the following benefit programs first of the month following 30 days of employment (*Employee contribution required, depending on option chosen):

Short Term Disability* UNUM – Income replacement benefit pays 60% of basic weekly pay for up to 11 weeks of disability
Long Term Disability UNUM – After 90 days of employment; pays 66 2/3 % of monthly income after 90 days of disability

Paid Time Off Benefits: Available after 90 days of employment to employees whose regular work schedule is 20 – 40 hours/week and is pro-rated based on his/her work week schedule:

PTOPaid time away from work that can be used for vacation, personal time, illness, or to care for dependents:
  • Accrued biweekly based on hours worked up to 40
  • Annual PTO accrual (based on 40 hours/week) = 17 days; accruals increase based on years of service: 22 days after 3 years, 27 days after 5 years, 32 days after 20 years
Holiday Time 9 days per year with no waiting period – may change depending on calendar year
