Dr. Marr graduated from Dartmouth College and the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. After serving his residency in family medicine at Maine Medical Center, he completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine. Dr. Marr serves as a team physician for the University of New England, Windham High School, and Yarmouth High School . Dr. Marr has a special interest in elite endurance athletics including performance physiology and injury prevention. He is a physician for USA Triathlon and is the medical director for Tri-Maine, a Maine based triathlon race series. In addition to serving as a Medical Director for the University of New England Athletic Training Program, his academic roles include: Clinical Assistant Professor - University of Vermont School of Medicine, Adjunct Professor – University of New England, and Clinical Instructor – Maine Medical Center Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is active in many sports including triathlon and skiing and remains obsessed with ice hockey.
