Biomechanical Evaluations

Basic Bike Fit - ($150)
Each fitting is individualized to meet the rider's specific discipline and needs. It is based on individual anthropometrics, soft tissue and flexibility factors, limitations and injury history. The goal of the basic bike fit is to provide a comfortable fit that matches the individual and not a formula.

Performance Bike Fit - ($400)
Incorporating all the information that is included in the basic bike fit, we fine-tune your bike fit with the goal of optimizing performance. This is a dynamic assessment using video analysis, joint motion, pedal/cleat interface assessment, power data, pedal stroke analysis, and heart rate response. Using this dynamic, comprehensive approach, we are able to help you find the fit to increase speed and mechanical efficiency while reducing the risk of injury.

SpinScanTM Pedal Analysis - ($70)
By measuring the efficiency of your pedal stroke, a SpinScanTM analysis helps you pedal correctly – even pressure on the pedals and optimal use of your leg to generate the most power. When SpinScanTM is combined with your power output, an optimal cadence can be identified that can help you generate maximal speed for your event.

Benefits of Spin Scan Analysis:

  • Increase leg power
  • Correct muscle imbalances though proper strength training
  • Increase overall SPEED!!!

Gait Analysis - ($250)
Anyone wanting to improve performance, prevent injury, or address a chronic injury or pain associated with running can benefit from a gait analysis.

What’s involved?

  • A flexibility and strength evaluation to identify potential causes for discomfort
  • A review of your history of injury
  • A videotaped running session on a treadmill
  • Use of Dartfish software to analyze your gait and identify mechanical inefficiencies or potential problem areas
  • Exercise prescription to improve your running form
  • Orthotic prescription if needed

Performance Strength/Flexibility Assessment - ($75)
Our performance fitness staff have developed specific programs designed for off-season and in-season performance gains. These programs combine four fundamental aspects of sports performance: core stability, muscular strength, power and speed into a comprehensive program. We identify and correct muscular imbalances that may affect performance and integrate these fundamentals into strength and power training programs.
