Kelsey Pettengill, CSCS, NSCA-CPT
Performance Coach
Kelsey graduated from the University of New England in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Applied Exercise Science. Kelsey is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Kelsey has been an intern at the OA Performance Center since June of 2009 developing skills as a Strength/Performance Coach and was then offered an advanced internship to combine those skills with the other professionals in the Orthopedic Associates family. In her time here Kelsey shadowed Physical Therapists, Sports Medicine Physicians, Athletic Trainers and observed surgical operations of upper and lower musculoskeletal injuries. Through this experience she was able to gain the knowledge to accurately see how her role as a Strength/Performance Coach can tie in with patient/athlete recovery.
Through prior work experience Kelsey has instructed a variety of individuals with different goals, attitudes and ages.
